Deadline extension to November 25
COURSE
Our understanding of brain function has been greatly advanced by the development of the light microscope. We are organizing a microscopy course that will be held in conjunction with a Max Planck symposium (Dec. 2-5, 2018). The course is designed for graduate students to highlight the diverse applications of modern optical techniques in the field of neuroscience. In addition to the symposium talks, two afternoons (Dec. 4-5, 2018) will be dedicated to practical lab demonstrations. Special emphasis will be placed on fluorescence microscopy and its use in different model systems. At the end of the course, students are expected to understand the numerous considerations that go into choice of optical tool in experimental design and to properly collect and interpret imaging data.

An application fee of $5.000 (CLP) (non-refundable) is needed to cover processing costs.
Please send proof of payment along with the application. The deadline for submission of application is midnight of November 25, 2018.
