Our mission is to promote excellence in scientific research while contributing to the educational and cultural development of our región and country. We are led by a Board of Directors that propose the guidelines to achieve academic excellence with the support of an efficient administrative staff and an international board of advisors who are experts in the areas of our investigation.
The role of the Board of Directors is to define the development plan for the Center, promote the scientific and outreach programs and the aproval of the annual budget. The Board of Directors consists of 5 members; the Director, Deputy Director and three investigators who head research lines. The Board allows for a continuous self-evaluation of the scientific work, enabling prompt adjustments in the distribution of resources to maximize the global impact of the scientific research and to facilitate research collaboration within and between investigation lines.
