Want to know more about CINV´s Tertulias Porteñas?

Since its inception in 2012, Tertulias Porteñas are gatherings organized by the CINV with guests from various disciplines (scientists, artists, intellectuals, etc.), who share their views regarding a particular topic. These meetings take place in Valparaiso and are open to the public. Cristián Warnken, Director of UV Imprint, moderates the panel.

Themes of general interest for the society are addressed in these tertulias. Each one of the meetings brought together a large public audience, for example more than 400 people attended the last gathering. (See here http://cinv.uv.cl/en/a-large-gathering-for-the-new-meeting-of-the-tertulia-portenas/)

Through Tertulias Porteñas, our goal is to explore various views about the selected topic in each one of these meetings. Through this multidisciplinary approach, neuroscience is presented not only as relevant in society but, like other disciplines, it searches to understand who we are.
