How to get to Valparaíso
FROM SANTIAGO AIRPORT TO VALPARAÍSO
Valparaiso is about 2h from the Santiago airport. You can get to Valparaiso using intercity buses (details below) or minibus services (Transfer Delfos and Transvip; details below).
By intercity bus
This is a simple, straightforward and cheap option; don’t be put off by having to take 2 busses!
Bus 1: At the airport take TurBus or Centropuerto bus to the “Pajaritos” Metro Station (around a 20 minute ride into Santiago).
Rate: $1600; pay on bus.
Bus 2: At the “Pajaritos” Bus Terminal get a ticket to Valparaiso from the TurBus, Pullman Bus, or Condor bus counters. Busses depart from Santiago every 15 minutes from 06:00 AM until 10:30 PM. Get off at the Valparaiso bus terminal.

By Car
If you’re traveling by car to Valparaíso, take Route 68, which intersects with the capital’s main thoroughfare (Alameda) and the Américo Vespucio beltway. The drive takes approximately 90 minutes.
