A second year of funding will be subject to competitive renewal. Granted CINV fellows are expected to apply for external funding [e.g. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conicyt.cl\/fondecyt\/\">FONDECYT<\/a>] to support their following years at CINV.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The monthly salary will be 1.600.000 Chilean pesos, equivalent to ~2400 USD at present. A formal agreement between CINV and the fellow will establish the legal conditions of this scholarship.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><b>Requirements:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">PhD or equivalent obtained within five years prior to March 1st, 2018.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The following documents to be included in the application:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Research statement<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">CV, including principal publications and activities (Max. 3 pages)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Research proposal (Max. 3 pages), including:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Summary (1 page)<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Methods and Analysis<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Gantt chart, indicating specific objectives to be fulfilled<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Expected results and projections<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Two letters of recommendation, including one from the PhD tutor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">A letter of commitment from the <a href=\"https:\/\/cinv.uv.cl\/research-team\/?lang=en&#038;lang=en\">CINV researcher<\/a> at whose laboratory the project will be carried out.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Antecedents, letters of recommendation and commitment should be electronically sent to <strong>postdoc@cinv.cl<\/strong> <strong>before March 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2019 23:59 hrs (GMT -3h)<\/strong>.
