The Tertulias Porte\u00f1as are conversation meetings organized by the CINV since 2012, the objective of which has been to show how neuroscience deals with the same issues as the rest of society, only that it often approaches them in a different way. Without a rigid or pre-established structure, the Tertulias seek to establish a conversation between guests from different disciplines (scientists, artists, humanists) on a topic they have in common.<\/p>\n
The gatherings have addressed topics such as dreams, consciousness, language and emotions, among many others. The scientists Ennio Vivaldi, Diego Cosmelli, Chris Chipot; the anthropologist Patricia May, the actress Malucha Pinto, the filmmaker Ignacio Ag\u00fcero, the psychologist Rafaella di Girolamo, Alessia Injoque, Alvaro Fischer, Sasha Mudd, Ziley Mora, Armando Roa, among others.<\/p>\n
The writer Patricio Fern\u00e1ndez, the director of the UV Editorial Cristi\u00e1n Warnken and the playwright Marco Antonio de la Parra have participated as moderators in its different seasons, summoning a diverse and large audience.<\/p>\n
